Cachapuz Bilanciai Group has revealed the new SLV Cement Bags Counting Module, which improves the bags loading and counting processes in cement plants. This new module, which relies on a proprietary algorithm to ensure an automatic and accurate counting, even in case of abnormal situations, can be applied in both truck and wagon loading machines and can be seamlessly integrated with the customer’s ERP. 

Cachapuz Bilanciai Group has extended the representation of SLV Cement to new countries in the African Continent through the Sasco Africa company. With this partnership, the SLV Cement solution will be promoted in South Africa, Botswana, Malawi, Namibia, Swaziland and Zambia.

Cachapuz Bilanciai Group has extended the representation of SLV Cement and SLV Platform solutions to new countries in G.C.C. (Gulf Cooperation Council) through the Rameez Kalbani FZC company. With this partnership, the SLV Cement solution will be promoted in the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia.

Rameez Kalbani FZC is an engineering, consulting and trading company located in Fujairah Free Zone – United Arab Emirates and is offering Electro – Mechanical solutions related to Cement Plants, Steel Plants, Oil field facilities and Wind Power turbines.

Cachapuz Bilanciai Group is introducing to the market a new module of SLV Cement truck management and dispatching solution, to control and improve the alternative fuels identification and unloading processes on cement plants.

Cachapuz Bilanciai Group was awarded with a new order to upgrade 4 SLV Cement Bulk Loading units in SECIL’s Maceira-Liz cement plant, in Portugal.

The first bulk loading units were installed in the 90’s and, after more than a decade working, SECIL decides to upgrade them to the latest version of the SLV Cement bulk loading kiosks, to keep up with the constant improvements and technologies Cachapuz is introducing in its dispatching and logistics solution.

Cachapuz Bilanciai Group was invited by CEDT (Centre of Excellence for Dematerialization of Transactions) to present SLV Cement solution, the expertise in the dematerialization of transactions in the cement industry and the Internationalization Strategy in the Brainstorming event. The event, with the subject “Economic Efficiency and Competitiveness”, was held in Leiria, Portugal, on 22nd, November 2011.

CEDT – The Centre of Excellence in Dematerialization of Transactions is a private non-profit association established in May 2008 with the joint support of Information and Communication Technologies companies’ (ICT) playing a leading role in the domain of Dematerialization of Transactions and within entities from the National Scientific and Technological System, as well as other public and private actors. The shared goals assure a productive collaboration and the accomplishment of important initiatives in various areas of competence.

Cachapuz Bilanciai Group received a new order to implement an automated unloading solution in Cimpor Souselas cement plant in Portugal to improve the alternative fuels unloading processes. This new order reflects the satisfaction of Cimpor in Cachapuz solutions and also the commitment of the company to CO2 emissions reduction in cement manufacturing.

The new system will be composed of an SLV Cement unloading kiosk with RFID based identification, which will be fully integrated with the plant automation to control the unloading processes. The interface technology chosen to integrate both systems was PROFIBUS and DEVICENET and SLV Cement solution will integrate the data with identification of the truck, the weighing data of the operation (tare, net and gross weights) as well as the characteristics of the alternative fuel to unload (the European Waste Catalogue code, the heat of combustion of the product, among others).

This new system will be an extension of the current SLV Cement truck management and tracking system running in Souselas plant. 

Cachapuz Bilanciai Group received a new order to implement SLV Cement Bag Counting module in Jaiprakash Associates Limited (the cement division of Jaypee Group). The bag counting module will be installed to improve and control the bags loading processes in 10 truck loading lines at Chunar Cement Plant (located in Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh).

This new module will complement the logistic and dispatching improvements of SLV Cement solution, recently contracted and will enable the automatic counting of bags directly on the truck loading machines/conveyor belt, notifying the loading operators that the requested amount of bags registered in the order has been achieved.

The bag loading module will be integrated with SAP ERP to automate the data exchange between the dispatch office and the loading zones.
